Studied singing and piano at Royal Academy of Music, London.
A French Government Scholarship enabled her to continue her studies in Paris with Pierre Bernac and Germaine Lubin and a Swedish Institute Scholarship for advanced study at the National Opera School in Stockholm, where she now lives.
Whilst in Paris she was the winner of the Concours International d’Interpretation de la Mélodie Francaise.
She has performed with orchestras, chamber music ensembles, (including the Allegri and Chilingirian Quartets), in oratorios and song recitals throughout France, Sweden and England, including performances at Wigmore Hall and South Bank, London and in Australia and Hongkong.

She has taken part in opera productions at Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Aix en Provence Festival Opera and sung as soloist at Royal Stockholm Opera, Folk Opera and Norrlands Opera in Sweden and in Hongkong and France.
Marilyn and Otto have given many varied concert and recital programs together during recent years.
